The UIAA has published its latest Annual Report, providing member federations, partners and the wider climbing and mountaineering community with a comprehensive overview of the federation’s work, progress and priorities for the calendar year 2025.
This is the second Annual Report to be published on a dedicated digital platform. This format allows the Annual Report to function both as a formal governance document, and as a dynamic showcase of the federation’s activities.
The platform is designed for easy navigation, enabling readers to move between strategic updates, commission reports, finance and membership information, and stories from across the international mountain community.
For UIAA member associations, the Annual Report is an important resource. Key content includes the President’s message, a review of the UIAA General Assembly, updates on strategic priorities, reports from UIAA Commissions, continental activity summaries, membership information and financial reporting. The report also showcases major projects and initiatives connected to safety standards, mountain medicine, responsible access, sustainability, training and the promotion of best practices in hiking, climbing and mountaineering. Member associations are encouraged to explore the report and share relevant sections with their own communities.
